Cleaning out the ice machine is one of the most important tasks in your business, and unfortunately it’s also one of the most likely things to be forgotten – so make your life easier by using this Manitowoc iBAuCS automated ice machine cleaning system! Putting off routine cleaning and maintenance allows lime scale, mineral deposits, algae slime, and bacteria to build up inside your ice machine, and if you wait too long to address these issues you could find yourself needing a service call for more extensive repairs, or even facing a health code violation!
This automated cleaning system takes the burden off you and your staff. You simply select the cleaning frequency (every 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 months) and it will handle the rest, even telling the ice machine to resume ice production automatically after each cleaning! Each iBAuCS system can dispense either ice machine cleaner (for treating scale and mineral deposits) or sanitizer (for eliminating bacteria, algae, and other pathogens) but not both at the same time.
You won’t need to worry about a bulky cleaning system taking up space either – the control box has a slim profile that can mount on the wall or the ice machine bin with the included installation hardware, and it is made from stainless steel for durability and easy cleaning. It requires a 115V electrical connection. It is designed to work with all Indigo IB series cubers.
