This product offers a fresh alternative to traditional classroom desks by allowing students the option to stand during work and instruction time, which promotes better focus, burns calories, and allows students to expend energy in a non-disruptive way. This facilitates a better classroom experience for learners of all types, and allows teachers to teach with fewer interruptions!
The top of this desk is made from 5/8″ thick MDF with a beige fire-, chemical-, and impact-resistant thermoplastic laminate, and a pencil groove provides easy and convenient storage for pencils and pens on 3 sides of the desk.
The frame is made from black powder-coated steel that’s sure to stand up to even busy classrooms, and an undershelf and book box give students room to keep books and extra school supplies. The height can be easily adjusted by a teacher or other adult in 1 1/4″ increments from 26″ to 42″, giving you the flexibility to reconfigure desks as needed and to make each student comfortable. It also features a patented foot rest / fidget bar that swings back and forth silently, encouraging students to expend excess energy in a non-distracting way.
