Perfect for a wide range of applications, this Safco 6270 dark gray 5 shelf commercial steel shelving unit is strong, sturdy, and easy to use. With (5) 36″ x 24″ shelves, the unit accommodates up to 750 lb. of evenly distributed weight per shelf, allowing you to store heavy bulk packs of paper, packing tape, notebooks, binders, or other supplies without worrying that the unit will cave from the weight. In fact, the steel frame provides ample strength, which is enhanced by the box beam design. The steel is even powder-coated, so scratches and other common signs of wear and tear won’t damage the appearance or integrity of the unit.
To provide all of the components needed to assemble and safely use the unit, 4 posts are included with the shelves. These posts are marked in 1″ increments, which the shelves can move up or down, and then lock in place for storage security. This design also makes initial assembly quick and easy. Because they’re stationary, the posts make the unit ideal for extended-use applications, such as continued use in a school or office supply closet.
