This 3M Water Filtration Products 5557506 drop-in prefilter housing, which works with 9 3/4″ cartridges, is meant to help protect equipment at point-of-entry. It is compatible with 3M’s line of particulate and chlorine taste and odor reduction cartridges. The unit features a transparent sump and a shut-off valve handle for convenient monitoring and maintenance, and it also comes with 3/4″ NPT connections and 1/2″ adapters. A mounting bracket and reducing bushing are included. Pressure gauges and compatible cartridges are sold separately.
