This replacement cartridge is designed with gradient-density depth filtration, which filters dirt, rust, sediment, and debris as small as 0.5 microns in size. High-capacity activated carbon within the filter works to reduce chlorine and undesirable tastes and odors, and its patented IsoNet technology prevents harmful scale deposits from building up inside your equipment. All of these features together reduce maintenance frequency and cost, improve operating efficiency, and protect components like solenoids, valves, and fittings against wear and plugging. When it comes time to change the filter cartridge, the process couldn’t be easier. A 1/4 turn “quick-twist” design makes it easy to swap one cartridge out for a new one – just allow 3″ of clearance below your existing filter system for cartridge removal. This cartridge is designed for use with IFQ1 and IFQ2 filter systems. It is recommended that you replace the filter cartridge every 6 months for optimal performance.
